Are there certain type(s) of method(s) you use for treating patients with scoliosis?
I am a founding partner of ScoliSMART clinics in which others are located throughout the US. The ScoliSMART practices specialize in treating the whole spinal condition as well the curve. SMART stands for “Sensory-Motor-Autonomic-Response-Training”. This is a non-invasive method to prevent the spinal curve from worsening and to lower the chances of surgery. I also have had a hand in designing various equipment to help treat scoliosis which can be found on my clinic’s website.
How much overall clinical experience do you have?
I have over 27 years of clinical experience, 15 years specializing in scoliosis with more than one thousand patients that have gone through the Scoliosis Boot Camp Programs.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
Outside of work, I am the father of two daughters. I am an avid outdoors person, I spend my time hiking, camping, desert off-roading, and treasure hunting. I am also an accomplished musician.
